Frequently Asked Questions.
Q. Does my roof qualify for
replacement under my home insurance policy?
A. If your roof has sustained damage
from a covered peril (wind, hail, ice, fire, etc.) then your roof
qualifies for replacement by your insurance company. The best way to
determine if your roof will be approved for full replacement is to
contact Relief Roofing & Restoration to schedule a free inspection by
one of our qualified professional adjusters.
Q. I have never filed a claim. Who do
I call?
A. Your insurance company has a 24hr.
Claim line. You can generally find the claim 800 number on your
policy which you will need to have in front of you when you call in
the claim.
Q. Are my Insurance premiums going to increase if I file a claim?
A. Insurance companies spread claim losses amongst all of their insureds. Whether or not you file a claim to fix your covered loss, and you are located in an area that had severe weather damage and your neighbors are filing claims, your insurance premiums will increase to cover their losses. This is why homeowners insurance premiums are $700 to $900 per year instead of $7000 to $9000.
Q. Why do I need Relief Roofing, can't
I handle the process myself?
A. Relief Roofing does this everyday and more than likely it would
be your first time meeting with an adjuster. This meeting is the
most critical part of the process. Let a Relief Roofing
Claims specialists handle this meeting for you. You wont regret it.
Q. How will Relief Roofing charge me to handle my claim?
A. Nothing! We agree to handle all of the
insurance meetings, negotiations, and invoicing on your behalf in
return for the contract to do all the work approved and specified by the insurance company summary of loss statement.
Q. What if my roof damage is not approved?
Will I have to pay Relief Roofing for their efforts?
A. No. We will not advise you to file a claim if the damage is not sufficient to warrant Insurance Company involvement. Further, we work for you on
contingency, based on Insurance company approval. If your insurance company does not approve of any damage you are under no contractual obligation with Relief Roofing.
Q. What is this going to cost me?
A. If your home is approved by your
insurance company, you will pay your insurance deductible plus any
material upgrades you may request from your Relief Roofing
representative. Your insurance company pays the rest.
Q. My insurance company said I needed
to get several estimates. What do I do?
A. Simply tell your insurance company you
already have a contract and ask them to contact Relief Roofing.
Q. What type of warranty do I get?
A. Shingle manufacturer will warranty
the shingle for 25yrs or 30 yrs. Depending on the shingle that is
used. Relief Roofing & Restoration, LLC's Warranty is 3 years on roof replacement and 1 year on all other
repairs. |
